Because demand for lessons is so high I can’t currently take on any new learners at present. But this will change as people are able go for their driving tests.
I am now training people from my waiting list although tests for this year are still hard to come by.
If you would like to be added to my waiting list to start lessons as soon as they become available please text me your details on 07967077681.
The DVSA latest: They are still running a recruitment campaign to increase the number of examiners and their are a number of new faces at the test centres. Extra daily tests and weekend testing have not yet materialised. But industrial action has been avoided for now why further negotiations are taking place.
Changes coming to theory test centres in our area in 2021
• the day-to-day management of each of the test centres, such as the computers and the staff
• the online booking system
• customer service team
From September 2021 the way DVSA delivers theory tests is changing. The changes will not affect the typical candidate experience or the content of the test (but it may look and feel slightly different).
Theory test centres
As part of the new arrangements two companies, Pearson VUE and Reed in Partnership Ltd will provide the day-to-day delivery of theory tests. The delivery will be separated into 3 geographical regions:
• Region A - Reed In Partnership Ltd Covering: Scotland, Northern Ireland, North West, North East and Yorkshire and Humber
• Region B - Pearson Vue Covering: Wales, West Midlands, South West and South East
• Region C - Reed In Partnership Ltd Covering: East Midlands, East of England and London
Because the contract to operate the theory test centres has been awarded to more than one company the location of many theory test centres will change.I am already aware that this area will no longer be covered by Pearson vue so expect the theory test centre location to move with possible disruption as the change over takes place please consider this when thinking of when to book your future theory tests.
Welcome to A2B driver Training
That's a lot of driver training experience with people of all ages and backgrounds. All that experience really helps when it comes to getting people of different abilities up to the required standard to pass their driving test.
I teach in a professional and friendly manner. I am a firm believer in patient tuition as the key to success. I don’t shout if you get it wrong but I will explain how to get it right. Then we will work on the problem together until you can do things correctly on your own. If this style of teaching suits you why not make contact and ask any questions you have about learning to drive and maybe book a lesson to see how you get on.
Things you’ll want to know
I operate a door to door service. If you’re not sure what that means, it’s quite simple I might pick you up from college and end your lesson at your home.
What do I drive? A manual top of the range Honda Jazz which is easy to drive, has great visibility, a smooth gearbox and has lots of safety features built in. Making the Jazz a great car to learn in.
Prices: please check out the prices page
I have been DBS checked (previously know as CRB check) by the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency.
I am signed up to the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency code of practice.
